Important Client Policies
Here at Central Coast Scalp, client satisfaction is one of our biggest priorities. To ensure that you are always happy with services provided by us, we offer a 48 hour workmanship guarantee. We will always check with you immediately after your service when you are looking in the mirror to see if you would like any adjustments. We recommend that you advise us at this opportunity if you do identify anything you are unhappy with so that we can make any corrections at this time. For any issues that arise between leaving your appointment and 48 hours after, we recommend that you advise us within this period to ensure that any corrections can be made. Please note that depending on the severity of hair loss and treatment goals that it is likely an average of 3 appointments may be required to achieve your desired look.
Professional Conduct
We provide a respectful, safe environment and expect the same from our clients. We have a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Rude, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour or language.
- Disregarding safety or aftercare instructions.
- Disruptive behaviour (including bringing guests or children into the studio).
We reserve the right to cancel your appointment without refund if this standard isn’t met.
Consent & Eligibility
- You must be 18+ years old to undergo treatment.
- By booking, you confirm that you understand the nature of scalp/beard micropigmentation and give informed consent to proceed.
- Let us know of any health issues, medications, or allergies prior to your appointment.
Booking Fees
- A $500 non-refundable booking fee is required for all SMP appointments.
- This secures your spot and is deducted from your total.
- Promotional appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
- Cancelling within 24 hours incurs a 50% fee.
- No-shows or repeated last-minute changes may result in a 100% fee or refusal of service.
- If you’re unwell, please contact us with enough notice to reschedule.
Late Arrivals
- If you’re more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or cancelled (fees still apply).
- We’ll always try to accommodate where possible, so give us a heads-up if you’re running late.
Personal Hygiene
- Please don’t smoke immediately before your appointment.
- Appointments may run for 2.5–3 hours and we do not break for smoking during the session.
‘PLUS ONES’ IN THE SALON
Due to safety, space, and hygiene, we ask that you attend your appointment alone to ensure that there are no delays or distractions during your appointment. We do not allow minors in the salon for safety and insurance purposes. We work with sharp tools and require complete concentration and steadiness when performing this service.
Payments & Refunds
- We accept card (with processing fee), cash, or direct transfer.
- No refunds for cancellations, change of mind, allergic reactions, or if advice is not followed.
Our guarantee
We always include a follow-up session to ensure you’re 100% happy. At every appointment, we’ll work together to create results that suit your features and align with your personal goals — all while keeping things realistic and achievable.
Gift vouchers
- Valid for 3 years and can be used toward any full-priced service.
- Not redeemable for cash or transferable.
RIGHTS
- Central Coast Scalp reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or reschedule an appointment for any reason.
- Central Coast Scalp reserves the right to change prices or promotions at any time.
